Minami Minegishi (峯岸 みなみ Minami Minegishi?, Born in Tokyo, 15 November 1992, age 20 years) is a singer and actor from the Japanese idol group AKB48.She was among the first batch of members who debuted as a member of Team A AKB48 in 2005, and often performed in variety shows on Japanese television.
At AKB48 elections in 2012, her name was ranked 14th with a total acquisition of 25 638 votes.Joint Takahashi Minami and Kojima Haruna, she is also a member of AKB48 no3b unit. All three had starred in the television drama Mendol, Ikemen Idol which aired on TV Tokyo in 2008.
After the scandal with
unit members Generations of Exile was published by Shukan Bunshun edition January 31, 2013, management AKB48 lose her status of being a member of Team B student training (kenkyūsei) starting February 1, 2013. On the same day as the decline in the status of a student training , Minegishi appeared with bald hair in a video apology on the AKB48 official channel on YouTube
