When 2-year-old, doctors had diagnosed her children with cancer. Organs of the body where it starts to cancer is unknown, but when it was discovered, the cancer has spread to include the pancreas, kidney, and heart. From age two to two and a half years, she was hospitalized in Osaka, and injected intravenously every day. But after battling cancer, Masuda and miraculously healed and has now recovered total.Until was in elementary school, she herself did not know she was as a child with cancer. Remembered, "I have always been in the hospital". She just found out that after a serious illness year.According teens, "the power of music" played a major role in his recovery. When admitted to the hospital, her father came to see her love of music was always to sing while accompanied by guitar. She also participated in singing happily while holding a toy microphone that contains Ramune candy.
